Why we're building Anysign

Meet the team behind Anysign

Many people want to learn sign language but are not sure where to start. We are building Anysign to make those first steps clearer, more approachable, and easier to practise with real video examples.

Sign language is visual and embodied. Learners need to see movement, facial expression, timing, body position, and rhythm. That is why Anysign uses real video examples, not just text descriptions or illustrations.

Our team

Anysign is shaped by people who care about respectful, practical sign language learning for beginners.

How we create content

A video becomes useful learning content when the sign is chosen carefully, recorded clearly, and shaped into something learners can practise.

01

We choose signs learners actually need

We prioritise signs that help beginners in real everyday situations.

02

Tutors and native signers record examples

Clear videos show movement, handshape, position, facial expression, and rhythm.

03

We turn videos into learning content

The product team structures each recording into dictionary entries, lessons, and practice exercises.

04

We keep improving

We refine content as the dictionary grows and learner feedback shows what is missing or unclear.

Our work brings together sign language expertise, product design, and learner feedback so Anysign stays practical: useful words, clear videos, and short exercises worth returning to.
